Refund Policy

This Refund Policy explains how billing, cancellations and refunds work for The Bet Pool subscriptions. It should be read together with our Terms of Service. Nothing in this policy limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
The simple version: You can cancel at any time to stop all future charges. Cancelling before your next renewal date means you won't be billed again. Because access is delivered immediately and continuously, we generally do not refund a billing period that has already started, except where the law requires it.
1. Monthly Subscriptions
Our membership is billed as a recurring subscription (for example, monthly). When you subscribe, you pay for a full billing period and receive immediate, continuous access to the Service for that period. Where a free trial applies, you are not charged until the trial ends.
2. Automatic Renewals
Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing cycle at the then-current price, using your saved payment method, until you cancel. Renewal charges are for the upcoming period of access. We recommend cancelling before your renewal date if you do not wish to continue.
3. Cancelling Your Subscription
You may cancel at any time by contacting support@thebetpool.com or through any self-service option we provide. When you cancel:
- Your subscription will not renew for the next cycle;
- You keep access until the end of the current paid period; and
- No further charges will be made after cancellation.
4. Future Billing
Cancelling stops future billing only. It does not automatically refund a period you have already paid for. It is your responsibility to cancel before a renewal date to avoid being charged for the next cycle.
5. Requesting a Refund
If you believe you are entitled to a refund — for example, you were charged in error, charged after cancelling, or the Service was not delivered as described — please contact support@thebetpool.com with your account email and details of the issue. We review every request fairly and will respond as quickly as we can. Approved refunds are returned to your original payment method.
We generally do not provide refunds simply because a subscription went unused, or because betting or sporting results did not go your way — The Bet Pool provides analytics and information only and never guarantees outcomes or winnings.
6. Your Rights Under the Australian Consumer Law
Our services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. Among other things, our services must be provided with due care and skill and be reasonably fit for the purpose we describe. If we fail to meet a consumer guarantee, you may be entitled to a remedy, which may include a refund. This policy does not limit or replace those rights.
7. Chargebacks
If you have a concern about a charge, please contact us first — we can usually resolve issues faster than a bank dispute. Initiating a chargeback without contacting us may result in your account being suspended pending resolution.
